Salutogenesis is more than the measurement of the Sense of Coherence (SOC). Today there are several concept within the salutogenic framework all of them having a salutogenic approach, having a starting point in viewing health as a resource for life and directing actions towards solutions. Today we are talking about a salutogenic umbrella.
Concepts of interest are among others flourishing (Keyes), learned optimism (Seligman), connectedness (Blum), empowerment (Freire; Laverack), resilience (Fonagy; Rutter; Walsh; Werner).
